New Monster Hunter 4 trailer shows off Diablos, Monoblos, and a whole lot of fighting in the desert We already knew that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate was on its way to the 3DS, but we really didn't know what to expect from it. Well, that's a bit of lie. We figured there'd be giant monsters stomping around, but we didn't know which monsters these would be. Capcom's stepped in to address this oversight with a new trailer for the monster hunting faithful, and sharp-eyed fans will catch glimps...

Review: Ragnarok Odyssey Ace

Added: 21.04.2014 10:00 | 3 views | 0 comments

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace Let's get something out of the way right here - at time of writing, Monster Hunter is not available for PS Vita in any form. Until that game finally rolls around, you've got a few imitators of the basic "grab giant weapons and slay equally giant monsters" gameplay available - and Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is at the front of that pack. It's not a perfect game, but it's still a fine contender for y...

Ragnarok Odyssey ACE (PS3, PS Vita) - Review on Popzara

Added: 18.04.2014 14:15 | 1 views | 0 comments

Ragnarok Odyssey ACE is a great example of a "clone" done right, especially when it comes to that of popular titles (i.e. Monster Hunter and others like it) that aren't accessible on the platforms they make the most sense on. It's a great starting place for budding beast slayers, especially if you didn't play the game during its first time on store shelves. Full review by Brittany Vincent.

Diehard GameFAN: Ragnarok Odyssey Ace (Vita) Review

Added: 14.04.2014 14:14 | 7 views | 0 comments

DHGF: Ragnarok Odyssey is a fun take on Monster Hunter for sure, and the inherent charm and aesthetic of Gravitys game series is delivered here in spades. For those who passed on the initial release the first time around and are considering giving it a go, this version comes recommended. The additional content compliments whats already there seamlessly, and the $34.99 asking price is without a doubt worth whatever extra over what going for the original release might cost you. For those who already put considerable time into the original, you will no doubt feel like Ace should have been offered as an add on content pack, as requiring you to play through the exact same content a second time, with only a handful of new things available, doesnt seem fair, especially since a large portion of the money youll spend on it is going towards something you likely already paid for, and definitely already played.

Video tour shows some things which shouldn't exist in real life.

The attraction is open until May 11 and features shops selling food and drinks based on items in the smash hit video game series. Those who attend can also take a look at real-world versions of the game's weapons and armour.

The video features narration by Capcom's Monster Hunter community manager Jake Mackey.

CGM Reviews: Ragnarok Odyssey ACE

Added: 09.04.2014 2:15 | 2 views | 0 comments

While Capcom arguably invented the entire monster-hunting genre when they debuted Monster Hunter on the PS2, it was really on the PSP where the genre took off. Since then, Capcoms taken their ball and walked out of Sonys backyard and over to Nintendos. This has been good news for the 3DS and Wii U and bad news for the Vita and PS3. Thats why publishers like Tecmo-Koei and even Sony themselves have stepped in to try to fill the gap. Game Arts managed to do so in 2012 with Ragnarok Odyssey and now the expanded version of that game, Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is available both on its original home on the Vita and a new $40 PS3 version. While its still not as good as Monster Hunter, you dont have much choice if youre craving this kind of gameplay on the PS3.

Ragnarok Odyssey ACE isnt a terrible game, and may appeal more to those who are fans of Monster Hunter (but dont expect the same level of quality) but overall fails to hold attention throughout.
